Wie entferne ich Debian-Firmware?

Wie entferne ich Debian-Firmware?

hallo,

ich habe folgendes prob mit einer älteren firmware di-nslu2.bin:

No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch â
â between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the â
â kernel version available in the archive. â
â â
â If you're installing from a mirror, you can work around this problem â
â by choosing to install a different version of Debian. The install â
â will probably fail to work if you continue without kernel modules. â

â Continue the install without loading kernel modules?

ich habe mir die neue firmware runtergeladen, wie bekomme ich diese nun auf die die slug da ja offenbar die notfallprozedur (redboot) bei den debian-fw nicht funzt.
ich bin dankbar für jeden tip, vielleicht gibt es sogar einen weg ohne die firmware zu flashen.
ich halte mich an:

ausserdem kann ich:
usb-storage-modules-2.6.18-5-ixp4xx-di: USB storage support

nicht auswählen. (nicht finden) was wohl an der firmware liegt.... auch mein stick wird nicht angezeigt.

unter dem Punkt

Using a tool for Windows to upgrade via the network.

a tollt , kannst du ein Windows tool laden, womit du die Original Firmware wieder herstellen kannst.

Vorher mußt du die NSLU2 in den Update Modus bringen.

First, you have to put your NSLU2 in upgrade mode:
  1. Disconnect any disks and/or devices from the USB ports.
  2. Power off the NSLU2
  3. Press and hold the reset button (accessible through the small hole on the back just above the power input).
  4. Press and release the power button to power on the NSLU2.
  5. Wait for 10 seconds watching the ready/status LED. After 10 seconds it will change from amber to red. Immediately release the reset button.
  6. The NSLU2 ready/status LED will flash alternately red/green (there is a 1 second delay before the first green). The NSLU2 is now in upgrade mode.
Dann mit dem Rechner direkt verbinden, das tool aufrufen, und die Original Firmware ( gibt es auf der Herstellerseite) draufspielen.

Jetzt sollte die NSLU2 wieder Original laufen

Hmm, bei mir tuts?! Schon probiert das 2 Sekunden-Fenster während des Bootens zu erwischen, in dem die Slug auf 192.168.0.1 erreichbar (ping- und telnetbar) ist? Den Bootloader ersetzt man durch Flash ja afaik nicht, dazu muss man doch JTAG nutzen?! (wird afaik höchstens erweitert mit APEX als 2nd stage Bootloader, d.h. Redboot bleibt erhalten)

Steht zwar bereits in dem Artikel von tecchannel, aber hier nochmal: das Kernel-Modul steht eher "versteckt" im Installer, man muss bei der Auswahl der zu installierenden Module die Liste runterscrollen. Evtl. erklärt sich ja daraus der Folgefehler von fehlenden Modulen.
